Each social media platform has its own technical requirements and visual preferences that affect how a video is presented and performs. Format customisation ensures that your content looks crisp and professional whether it appears on Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn or YouTube.
For Instagram and TikTok, vertical formats (9:16) are prioritised for Reels and Stories, filling the screen completely for maximum visibility. On Facebook and LinkedIn, square (1:1) or horizontal (16:9) formats work best in the feed, where autoplay without sound makes subtitles especially important.
