No shortcuts. We take the necessary steps in the design process to get the best possible outcome, no matter the size of the project. Obviously that demands different takes on the design process, because we don’t want to waste your time or ours.
At the heart of design is problem solving. Which is why we start every design process with identifying the core problem; what should the user get out of your new system set-up, what is the message that needs to be conveyed, and who are your audience, really.
With the user in focus and design thinking as our outlook we balance strategic possibility, user needs, impact and aesthetic.
Empathise
We start by really getting to know the user through data and personas. This is done through your understanding of the audience, collecting data on the challenge, personas and sparring key people.
Define
Here we turn the common idea of thinking big first and then focusing in upside down. We focus on the problem and the definition hereof, now that we know the user better.
Research
With the user and problem defined we start broadening our perspective with visual research. This will focus our insights in the next steps and help us identify key insights in the collected data.
Brainstorm
Now the designing and brainstorming begins. We create ideas and explore them with an open mind, so that we can eliminate the bad ones confidently later on.
Prototype & test
We build upon the good ideas and create different paths. We test these with you and possibly the user, so that we can get some constructive feedback with which we perfect the design.
Implement
The design is complete, so now we start implementation and hand-over. We create the final design guide, logo package, ad strategy, website specifics or whatever the project demands and implement it.
