The challenge

Support the next generation in making Havhøkeren a modern, digital-first business

Design and branding

Our design team reshaped the brand identity to align with Havhøkeren’s shift towards fashion retail.

The new visual direction balances a contemporary, fashion-forward look with subtle nods to the brand’s historic roots.

We overhauled the webshop with a modern design and high-end photography to build credibility alongside major fashion brands and meet the expectations of a demanding clientele.

Development of the webshop

Havhøkeren was stuck on an outdated Magento setup. Clunky UX, slow checkout, backend chaos. We flipped the switch – and moved everything to a high-performance, custom Shopify Plus build designed for scale.

From day one, the goal was clear: boost conversions, eliminate friction, and build a shop that actually supports the brand’s ambitions.

We rebuilt the customer journey from scratch: faster load times, mobile-first design, and a checkout flow that converts without drop-offs.

The look? Clean, structured, bold, and true to Havhøkeren’s rugged coastal roots.

Point of Sale (POS)

We migrated Havhøkeren from their existing setup to the Shopify POS system.

Our team managed the full implementation and training process, ensuring a seamless transition and native integration with the online store.

With webshop and in-store data unified, generating clear, consolidated reports is now fast and effortless.

Chess.com Marketing strategy

With the refined brand in place and a webshop site we can work with, we launched a multi-channel marketing strategy grounded in data.

Performance decisions were driven by POAS (profit on ad spend), not just revenue-based metrics like ROAS. Focusing on actual profit provides a far more reliable foundation for deciding which products to promote, prioritise, or phase out, unlike the often misleading ROAS figures most webshops rely on.

Social Media

We developed a structured social media strategy with clearly defined audience segments; locals, summer visitors, tourists, boating enthusiasts, and fashion-conscious men and women.

The strategy made it possible to target each group effectively with tailored content, while still supporting broader business goals. This work has contributed directly to increased foot traffic in the physical store.

Google Ads + SEO

We rolled out a focused Google Ads strategy to secure top rankings in relevant searches, while using targeted SEO to avoid paying for keywords where Havhøkeren already ranked organically.

With proper tracking in place, we’ve been able to scale the ad budget confidently, always keeping a clear view of profit on each campaign.

Custom product import system

To reduce administrative workload, we built custom systems; most notably a product import tool that connects directly with Havhøkeren’s distributors.

This integration provides on-demand access to over 120,000 products. We take full control of the distributor data, cleaning and formatting it for seamless use on Shopify.

E-conomic + Storebuddy

With modernised retail systems in place, we introduced an automated accounting platform that integrates data from both the webshop and POS.

The result = a happy bookkeeper.

Continued support

We continue to support Havhøkeren with strategic advice and technical solutions.

Today, their brand speaks clearly to their target audience. Their systems are lean, scalable, and built around real data. What was once a daily headache is now a key part of their future.

We have greatly reduced the hours Havhøkeren is reliant on us day-to-day, and ensured they have full knowledge of how to put their modernised infrastructure to good use.
